Is the facility free of Ionophores?
Nutrition Partners Inc’s manufacturing facility in Airdrie Alberta is a CFIA, and HACCP certified mill. As part of the requirements of these programs we have procedures in place to greatly reduce the possibility of errors throughout the process. Our facility is unique as it does not have any conveying equipment to transfer finished product from one stage to the other. This is done in a sealed mixing bin that it transferred from each station by forklift greatly reducing any chance of cross contamination between batches. We have 2 separate lines using independent mixing bins for medicated and non medicated products to further reduce any cross contamination of products such as ionophore between batches. As part of our HACCP program requirements, we do regular testing of ingredients and finished feeds to confirm the system sounds and we are not seeing cross contamination between batches.
