At Happy Horses®, our training program is dedicated to the development of the elite four-event athlete. We specialize in preparing and campaigning high-caliber horses for the international stage, with a focus on the precision, versatility, and grit required for the NRCHA and the World’s Greatest Horseman.

We believe that a true performance horse should be as mentally confident as they are physically capable. Our boutique approach ensures that every horse receives meticulous, individual attention—balancing high-level refinement with the longevity and "heart" that the Happy Horses® brand is known for.

The Four Pillars of Our Program

We develop horses to excel across the full spectrum of the cowhorse discipline:

• The Herd: Developing the style, patience, and "eye appeal" necessary to command the pen.

• The Rein: Achieving professional-level finesse, guided by a willing and responsive foundation.

• The Fence: Building the speed, timing, and courage to handle any cow with absolute precision.

• The Rope: Integrating strength and position for the steer stopping, completing the ultimate test of the horseman’s horse.

Strategy & Campaigning

We are not a high-volume facility. By maintaining a limited number of training stalls, Taylor is able to focus on the strategic development of each athlete. From selecting the right Futurity and Derby entries to campaigning seasoned performers on a national level, we are committed to showcasing your horse's full potential.
